This website is run by Udai (Universal Development & Inspiration) Foundation (“Udai”, “we”, “us”). This policy describes how the site actually works today. If that changes, we will update this page first.
The short version
- No accounts, no advertising, no analytics and no tracking.
- This website does not set cookies or store anything on your device.
- The contact form does not send anything to us on its own. It opens your own email app with your message filled in, and nothing is sent until you press Send there.
- Facebook content loads only if you choose to load it.
- We never sell or rent your information.
Information we collect
When you contact us by email, phone or Facebook message, we receive your name, your contact details and whatever you choose to tell us.
When you visit the website, our hosting provider (Amazon Web Services) automatically records standard technical logs, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. These are used to deliver the site and keep it secure. We don’t use them to identify you.
How we use it
- To reply to you.
- To arrange volunteering, partnerships or anything else you asked us about.
- To keep the website working and secure.
We don’t send marketing messages unless you ask to hear from us.
Who we share it with
Only with services that help us run things: Amazon Web Services (website hosting), Google (our Gmail inbox) and Meta (if you message us on Facebook). We also share information if the law requires it. Nothing else.
Cookies
This website sets no cookies and does not use local storage, so there is no cookie banner.
Our Gallery page can show our latest Facebook posts, but only after you click “Load Facebook posts”. Once loaded, that content comes from Facebook, which may set its own cookies under the Meta Privacy Policy. The same applies when you follow a link to our Facebook page.
Online donations
We don’t accept online donations yet. Before we do, we will update this policy to explain what is collected when you donate and which payment provider handles it. See our Donation & Refund Policy.
How long we keep it
We keep emails and messages for as long as we need them to respond and stay in touch about what you asked. You can ask us to delete them at any time. Hosting logs are kept by our hosting provider for a limited period.
Children and photographs
This website is meant for supporters, volunteers and partners. We don’t knowingly collect information from children through it. If a child has contacted us, a parent or guardian can ask us to delete that information.
The photographs on this site are from our activities and have been shared on our Facebook page. If you would like a photo of yourself or your child removed, write to us and we will take it down.
Your rights
Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and any other law that applies to you, you can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or withdraw your consent. You can also raise a complaint with us. If you aren’t satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
To do any of this, contact us using the details below. We will respond as soon as we can.
Security
The website is served only over HTTPS, with strict security settings. It has no database and keeps no record of visitors’ personal information.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
