We don’t accept online donations yet. No payment can be made on this website at the moment. This policy sets out how donations to Udai (Universal Development & Inspiration) Foundation will be handled once online donations open through a secure payment provider.
Donations are voluntary
A donation is a voluntary contribution to support our work with underprivileged children. It is not a payment for goods or services, and nothing is shipped or delivered in return.
Refunds
Because donations are put to work quickly, they are generally not refundable. We will refund a donation if:
- it was made by mistake, such as a wrong amount or a duplicate payment, or
- the payment was made without your authorisation.
To ask for a refund, email us within 7 days of the donation with the date, the amount and the transaction ID. Approved refunds are made to the original payment method, and we aim to process them within 7 working days. The time it takes to reach your account depends on your bank.
Cancelling a recurring donation
If you set up a recurring donation, you can cancel it at any time by emailing us. No further payments will be taken. Earlier payments are covered by the refund terms above.
Receipts
You will receive a receipt for every donation. The donation page will clearly say whether a donation qualifies for any tax deduction.
